Our founders, Dr. Peter Franklin and Dr. Frank Seidelmann, were actively leading radiology groups when they realized the need for improvement in the level of service provided to hospitals by radiology. Their vision was to provide referring physicians with the best, most specialized diagnoses in timely and accurate reports.
Their solution was a traditional radiology group with higher standards—one that supports hospital medical staffs with 24/7/365 access to highly-respected subspecialty radiologists and takes accountability for the quality of its own work. In 2001 they founded Franklin & Seidelmann Subspecialty Radiology, which made high-quality, remotely-performed final reports available to their clients. After much success and substantial investments in innovative technologies, they expanded to become Radisphere.
